WHO WE ARE
The Friends of Blind Brook Fund (“FBBF”) is a 501(C)(3) organization established with a broad mission to address unforeseen budget cuts and provide critical support to various aspects of education within the Blind Brook-Rye Union Free School District. While our current focus is on athletics and physical education, we recognize the need for flexibility as unexpected financial challenges may arise.
FBBF is dedicated to representing the interests of the entire Blind Brook School District, ensuring that we can offer financial assistance and resources when needed. Our current emphasis is on promoting athletics and enhancing the student athlete experience. We aim to provide financing for special programs and initiatives, as well as procure equipment and supplies for athletic teams.
Through fundraising efforts, FBBF will: (i) Offer financial support based on need for school athletics and physical education, (ii) Advocate for the preservation of existing athletic programs, (iii) Support the development of new athletic programming when appropriate, and (iv) Uphold the Blind Brook-Rye School District Code of Conduct.
Our overarching goal is to remain adaptable and responsive to emerging needs, all while fostering and encouraging young athletes participating in sports, and ensuring that budget constraints do not hinder their educational experiences.
